It is my pleasure to "make the person in front of me happy"

My grades in my school days were always in the middle of the middle. I'm not very good at sports, I'm not very good with my hands, and I've never been anything out of the ordinary. I felt it.

When I was in the lower grades of elementary school, I wanted to please my homeroom teacher, so I made an object out of clay and gave it to him. The kind teacher accepted it with a smile, but when I think about it now, I was in trouble when I was suddenly handed an object that I didn't understand (laughs).

At that time, my dream was to become a volunteer. I thought it was cool to help people in need, and I had a naive idea of what I wanted to be like.

I learned about acupuncture and moxibustion from a TV program

I am currently an acupuncturist, but to be honest, I didn't really know about the existence of "acupuncture and moxibustion" until my second year of high school. One day in my second year of high school, I was casually watching a program about animals called "Dobutsu Fushitsutengai," when I saw a documentary showing how acupuncture could be used to erect a statue of Africa that was no longer able to stand. At that time, I learned about the existence of "acupuncture" for the first time, and this is it! ! I decided to become an acupuncturist.

The filming location is Africa. Acupuncture can help at any time and in any place. That was the reason I started down this path.

"Aid for disaster areas,” I said.

Ever since I was a child, I have always wanted to become a volunteer, and even after becoming an adult, I have been involved in various volunteer activities.

I think that what volunteers have is different for each individual, but I think that doing what I can when I can, and even if it's not direct, the result is more smiles.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, I have had many opportunities to visit disaster-stricken areas, sometimes to remove debris, sometimes to clean gutters, sometimes to help farmers, and sometimes to be an acupuncturist. When I went to clear the rubble, when I told him that my occupation is an acupuncturist, he replied, "I'm good at this (debris removal), so I'll give you a massage, because everyone is tired." There was also a case where a person secured a place and performed anma treatment in a hurry. I feel that the possibilities of what I can do through this work are endless when I hear voices saying, "It feels so good!" just by touching them.

At the same time, I hit the wall of my “heart”. Because I have never been a victim myself

To be honest, I was not good at the invisible part of my heart, such as "I wonder if it's XX" and "What kind of words should I say?" I feel that if I can treat each person in front of me in a way that suits them, they will smile more. I feel the need to know about the "mind", and am currently learning about the mind at the "Psychology Course for Therapists" in our salon. In fact, when you learn about the mind, your weak awareness is gradually changing.

Acquire knowledge not only about the body but also about the mind

No matter where you go, increase the joy and smiles of the people in front of you.

I would like to get closer to myself.
